Obituary for Jacob Anthony Haun
Captain Jacob Anthony Haun, 26, of Erlanger, KY passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 9, 2021, in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Jacob graduated from Dixie Heights High School and Georgetown College. Jacob was a member of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity and a Completion Cadet of the University of Kentucky ROTC Program. Jacob went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. Jacob loved animals and enjoyed traveling with his Mother, Grandmother, and Grandfather. Their favorite place to travel was Jekyll Island, GA. Jacob loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with them. Jacob had a passion for music, drawing, art, and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Barbra Anne Haun, Jacob is survived by his Mother Leneda Marie Haun, his Grandfather John L. Haun Sr., who was Jacob’s role model and hero, Aunt’s Leslie (Trisha) Haun, Susan (Bill) Scott, his Uncle Jay Haun, and his beloved cousins, Luke, Wade, Collin, Carter, Amelia and Lola. Jacob is also survived by his Father Timothy Jo Singleton and his half-brother Noah Singleton. Visitation will take place on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. Highway 42, Florence, Kentucky, 41042, from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 24 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow at 1:00 PM at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery North, Williamstown, Kentucky. In remembrance of Jacob’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Campbell or Kenton County Animal Shelter.
