Obituary for MARCELLA JOAN (COLEMAN) HAUSS

Hauss, Marcella Joan Coleman, beloved wife of George for 64 years, passed away on Friday January 6th. Marcella was a long time Cincinnati Reds and Bengals’ fan. She was a former member of the Rosie Reds. A veteran of 25 cruises, she enjoyed travel with friends and family. Trips included Florida, Alaska, New England, Ireland, the Caribbean, and the Panama Canal. She documented her trips through numerous photo albums. Marcella was born in Algona, Iowa and moved with her family to Louisville, KY when she was a child. While attending Ahrens Trade School she met the love of her life. With a job change for George, she moved to Florence, KY in 1972 then later Union, Ky. After leaving the linen department at Pogue’s Department Store, she relaxed playing bridge, video games, knitting, and working countless word puzzles. Marcella was a loving mother, and is survived by her husband George and her 4 children, Ronn (Deborah), Sharon Binford (T.J.), Mark (Terry), and Lorie Williams (Randy). She was a favored grandma of 11 grandchildren, Jeremy Hauss (Kristie), Miriam Cunningham (William), Caroline Taylor (Darren), Rebecca Smith (David), Michael Hauss, Blair and Casey McGraw, Stephen and Kimberlee Williams, and Mitchell and Cameron Hauss, as well as 5 great-grandchildren.
