On May 25th, 2022, at 31 years old, God took Michael Dean Marek and Heaven gained an Angel. Michael was survived by his father Dean, mother Barbara and brother Kyle Marek and his late grandparents Don and Lenore Platt and Joseph and Edna Obermeyer.

He was also survived by numerous cousins that he cherished.
Michael was one of kind, he had an awesome smile, he was very territorial and OCD, he couldn’t part with anything. He and his brother Kyle, hung out together they were worse enemies one day and best friends the next. They shared the love of body building, working on trucks, four wheeling and hanging out with their friends. He also admired the sport of karate and enjoyed sharing the sport with his father and brother.
Michael treasured his special time with his mom, watching movies, shopping together, encouraging each other, sharing intimate long talks and just being together.
Michael graduated from Cooper HS in 2009 and after high school he attended the Home Builders Association studying to be an Electrician from 2009-2011 and then elected to follow in his father's footsteps becoming a diesel technician, he also followed his younger brother with the stock market, until he passed.
He was extremely mechanically inclined and never missed the opportunity to help a friend with all their car and truck repairs.
Michael was a home body, loved being around family and friends. He was very outgoing, he loved hunting, fishing, racing, and sports especially his favorite teams the Detroit Tigers, the Lions and the Red Wings. He also loved music, all music, and treasured going to concerts with his cousins Andru and Alex.
Other than visiting Detroit, Michael's favorite place to go was West Virginia, where his cousin Megan lived, they shared a bond like brother and sister from baby on.
In closing Michael, to all he touched he will greatly be missed, loved and always in our hearts.
