Obituary for Richard P. Louden, Jr.
Richard P. Louden, Jr., 95 years of age, of Walton, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Richard was born in Ludlow, Kentucky to the late Maude and Richard P. Louden Sr. Richard proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Lois Louden; and their loving son, Richard P. Louden III. After his time in the service he went to work for the Southern Railroad. He spent 35 years working there before retiring as an Engineer. Richard leaves behind his son, Darrell W. Louden and daughter, Cuncray “Sunny” Collins (Donald). He was the proud grandfather of Billy Collins (Andrew), Bradley Collins (Stephanie), James Collins (Courtney), John Collins (Sarah), Crystal Louden, Ashley Louden, Tyler Louden and Courtney Louden as well as 6 great grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, playing euchre and never missed a meal. Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US Hwy 42, Florence, KY 41042.
