Obituary for SARA B MATTOX

Sara B. Mattox, 88, of Bullittsville, died July 31 of causes incidental to age. Originally from Georgia, she came to Kentucky in 1955. She was a World War II and Korean War parachute rigger, professional cosmetologist, avid genealogist, florist, and homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served faithfully for many decades in a wide variety of volunteer capacities, including Cincinnati Ohio Stake Relief Society President. She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Raymond E. Mattox, Bullittsville; daughter Gerri (Jim) Thomas, Tallahassee, Florida; son John Mark (Kathryn), Alexandria, Virginia; four grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.

Cemetery:
Burial will be at the I.O.O.F Cemetery, Burlington.

Visitation 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 3 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2965 Hebron Park Drive, Hebron

Service:
A memorial service will be at 12:00 noon at the church
