Doug and his wife Kim have 6 children and 4 grandchildren and split their time between time between Kentucky and Florida

Served over ten years on the Legislative Committee for funeral directors and embalmers
Former franchisee in several food service and hospitality concepts.

aughters at college in Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA, watching his grandson play ever sport imaginable and boating at Lake Cumberland.

Joshua Marcum

Josh Marcum is a 2006 graduate of Walton Verona High School. Josh resides in Boone County on his family's farm with his wife, Kelly and their daughter, Avery. Josh has been serving in the Funeral Industry since 2006 and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2010. In his free time, Josh enjoys traveling, being outdoors, fishing and watching the Kentucky Wildcats.

Timothy E. Borcher

Funeral Director, Embalmer

Tim Borcher has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Kentucky for over 24 years and has been with us at Stith Funeral Homes since 2007, while he served as Boone County Deputy Coroner for nearly 14 years. He graduated 2004 with an associates degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Tim is an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and loves the game of baseball at all levels. But especially enjoys watching his sons play baseball and learn to love the sport as much as he does. He lives in Union, Ky with his wife and children.

Robert T. Cook

Funeral Director, Embalmer

Robert T. Cook has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in both Kentucky and Indiana for over 24 years. He has been with us here at Stith Funeral Homes since 2012 and served as a Deputy Boone County Coroner for 7 years. Robert is a 1995 graduate of Larry A, Ryle High School in Union, KY and holds an associates degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, class of 1997. He enjoys the gun range and is an active train enthusiast. Robert currently lives in Covington. KY.

Paul E. Barton, Jr.

Paul Barton, a licensed funeral director since 2015, has been with Stith Funeral Homes since 2017. Paul resides in Kenton County with his wife Katie and their daughter Elizabeth. He is a member of the Kentucky Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directions Association. Paul enjoys traveling, attending his wife's various concerts, and spending time with his family.

Rick Young

Funeral Director Assistant

Rick Young is a 2001 graduate of Ludlow High School, currently Rick resides in Burlington, KY. with his wife Rebecca, and their 3 children, Lauren, Kaylyn, and Natalie. Rick has been employed with Stith Funeral Homes as a funeral assistant since 2017. Rick also works with the Walton Fire Protection District as a Shift Commander; he has been there for 17 years. In Ricks spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, being in the outdoors, traveling, hunting, and fishing. Rick and his family have been members of Generations Church since 2009.
